Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of financial performance as proxied by the current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), net profit margin (NPM), and total assets turnover (TAT) on profit growth in automotive and component manufacturing companies. listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2021. The research sample consisted of 9 companies with a total of 36 data using panel data. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. Data collection techniques with documentation techniques. Hypothesis testing in this study uses panel data regression analysis using the EViews 10 application Based on the results of the partial hypothesis, it is found that the proxied financial performance of the current ratio (CR) has a significant effect, the debt to equity ratio (DER) has a significant effect, the net profit margin has a significant effect (NPM), and total assets turnover (TAT) has a significant effect on profit growth in automotive and component manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2018-2021 period. The results of simultaneous hypothesis testing show that the current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), net profit margin (NPM), total assets turnover (TAT) simultaneously have a significant and positive effect on profit growth in automotive and component manufacturing companies. listed on the Indonesia stock exchange for the period 2018-2021.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja keuangan dengan diproksikan dengan current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), net profit margin (NPM), dan total assets turnover (TAT) terhadap pertumbuhan laba pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor otomotif dan komponen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018-2021. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 9 perusahaan dengan jumlah 36 data menggunakan Data Panel. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh dari www.idx.co.id. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi data panel menggunakan aplikasi EViews 10. Berdasarkan hasil hipotesis secara parsial di dapatkan hasil bahwa kinerja keuangan yang diproksikan bahwa current ratio (CR) berpengaruh secara signifikan, debt to equity ratio (DER) berpengaruh secara signifikan, net profit margin berpengaruh secara signifikan (NPM), dan total assets turnover (TAT) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor otomotif dan komponen yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia periode 2018-2021. Hasil pengujian hipotesis secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), net profit margin (NPM), total assets turnover (TAT) secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap pertumbuhan laba pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor otomotif dan komponen yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia periode 2018-2021.
