Abstract. This research is motivated by the reactive distribution system at CV ABC, which causes the remaining inventory of Kaporit X to frequently reach zero, creating a high risk of stockouts. The purpose of this study is to develop a time-phased distribution plan to stabilize product availability. The method used is descriptive quantitative through the Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) approach. The data collected is primary historical data in the form of actual daily demand during the January-December 2024 period, with a lead time parameter of 3 days and a safety stock of 14 units. The ordering policy uses the Lot-for-Lot (LFL) method. The results show that the application of DRP can transform the distribution pattern into a structured and proactive one. The planned order release schedule can be determined systematically following demand fluctuations, ensuring all net requirements are met on time. The projected on-hand inventory was successfully maintained stably at the safe limit of 14 units at the end of each period. In conclusion, the DRP method is proven effective in preventing stockouts and providing full control over the ordering schedule of Kaporit X at CV ABC.
Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan sistem distribusi reaktif pada CV ABC yang menyebabkan sisa persediaan Kaporit X sering mencapai nol, sehingga berisiko tinggi mengalami kekurangan persediaan (stockout). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyusun perencanaan distribusi secara time-phased guna menstabilkan ketersediaan produk. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif melalui pendekatan Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP). Data yang dikumpulkan merupakan data historis berupa permintaan aktual harian selama periode Januari-Desember 2024, dengan parameter lead time 3 hari dan safety stock 14 unit. Kebijakan pemesanan menggunakan metode Lot-for-Lot (LFL). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan DRP mampu mengubah pola distribusi menjadi terstruktur dan proaktif. Jadwal pelepasan pesanan (planned order release) dapat ditentukan secara sistematis mengikuti fluktuasi permintaan, sehingga seluruh kebutuhan bersih (net requirements) terpenuhi tepat waktu. Proyeksi persediaan (projected on-hand) berhasil dipertahankan stabil pada batas aman minimum sebesar 14 unit di setiap akhir periode. Kesimpulannya, metode DRP terbukti efektif mencegah stockout dan memberikan kendali penuh terhadap penjadwalan pemesanan Kaporit X di CV ABC.
