Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to examine the influence of perceptions of transformational leadership style on workplace well-being at PT X. The research method used is quantitative research with a research design namely causality. The number of subjects in this research was 100 employees of PT. X. The measuring instrument used to measure the Transformational Leadership Style is a measuring instrument adapted from Bass and Avolio in Beşiktaş and Orta (2012), namely the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ), and a tool for measuring workplace wellbeing, the author independently compiled a workplace wellbeing scale based on theory workplace wellbeing developed by Page (2005). The research results show that 60% of employees have a high level of perception of transformational leadership style and 75% of employees have a high level of workplace wellbeing. This research uses simple linear regression analysis with results (R2) of 0.800. From the results of this research, it was found that the perception of a transformational leadership style can determine the high and low levels of workplace wellbeing of PT employees. X, the higher and more positive the level of perception of transformational leadership style, the higher their workplace wellbeing and vice versa.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji Pengaruh Persepsi Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional Terhadap Workplace Wellbeing di Perusahaan PT X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian yaitu kausalitas. Jumlah subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 100 karyawan PT. X. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional adalah alat ukur yang mengadaptasi dari Bass dan Avolio dalam Beşiktaş dan Orta (2012) yaitu Multifactor Leadership Quetionnaire (MLQ), dan Alat untuk mengukur workplace wellbeing, penulis menyusun secara mandiri skala workplace wellbeing berdasarkan pada teori workplace wellbeing yang dikembangkan oleh Page (2005). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 60% Karyawan memiliki tingkat persepsi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional yang tinggi dan 75% karyawan memiliki tingkat workplace wellbeing yang tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan hasil (R2) sebesar 0.800. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapati bahwa persepsi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dapat menentukan tingkat tinggi rendahnya workplace wellbeing karyawan PT. X, semakin tinggi dan positif tingkat persepsi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional maka semakin tinggi workplace wellbeing mereka dan begitupun sebaliknya.
