Pengaruh Job Crafting terhadap Work Engagement pada Anggota Unit Satreskrim Polrestabes

Abstract. The increase in crime that occurs in the community at the same time is also related to the Satreskrim Police due to an increase in workload. This increase in workload can affect the performance of the Satreskrim, so conditions are needed to be able to improve performance. The high work or job demands faced by the Satreskrim members must be accompanied by high job resources or job resources. Job resources owned by Satreskrim members can be increased through job crafting. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job crafting on work engagement in members of the Satreskrim Polrestabes unit. Data were obtained from the entire population, namely 72 members of the Satreskrim Polrestabes unit. Measurement of job crafting uses a measuring tool Tims, Bakker, and Derks, (2012) and a measuring tool for work engagement using the UWES-17 Schaufeli, Salanova, Gonzales-Roma, & Bakker, (2002). The results showed that the effect of job crafting on work engagement in Satreskrim unit members was 68.9%. The results of multiple regression indicate that the dimension of increasing social work resources has the most significant effect on work engagement by 32.1%.

Abstrak. Peningkatan kriminalitas yang terjadi di masyarakat pada saat yang bersamaan juga beruhubungan dengan pihak Kepolisian Satreskrim karena mengalami peningkatan beban kerja. Peningkatan beban kerja ini dapat mempengaruhi kinerja Satreskrim, sehingga dibutuhkan kondisi untuk dapat meningkatkan kinerja. Tingginya pekerjaan atau tuntutan pekerjaan yang dihadapi oleh anggota Satreskrim tersebut harus dengan sumber daya pekerjaan atau sumber daya pekerjaan yang tinggi pula. Sumber daya pekerjaan yang dimiliki anggota Satreskrim tersebut dapat ditingkatkan melalui job crafting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh job crafting terhadap work engagement pada anggota unit Satreskrim Polrestabes. Data diperoleh dari seluruh populasi yaitu 72 anggota unit Satreskrim Polrestabes. Pengukuran job crafting menggunakan alat ukur Tims, Bakker, dan Derks, (2012) serta alat ukur work engagement menggunakan UWES-17 Schaufeli, Salanova, Gonzales-Roma, & Bakker, (2002). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh terdapat job crafting terhadap work engagement pada anggota unit Satreskrim sebesar 68,9%. Hasil regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa dimensi peningkatan sumber daya pekerjaan sosial yang memberikan pengaruh yang paling signifikan terhadap work engagement sebesar 32,1%.
