Pengaruh Satisfaction with Football Team Performance terhadap Work Engagement pada Salesperson dengan Model Spillover

Abstract

Abstract. This aim of this study is to determine how much influence satisfaction has on the performance of the football team through a positive affect on work engagement’s salesperson in Bandung. In this study, the researchers used an explanatory research design using survey methods, in this study the authors used a quantitative type of research with the number of samples in this study were 22 salespeople who became persib suporters. The measuring instrument used is a measure of satisfaction with the performance of the football team from Scarpello & Campbell and a tool for measuring work engagement from Schaufeli & Bakker. The results of the study based on the results of the calculation of mediation analysis obtained a p value of 0.0583. Based on these results, because the p value > 0.05 (0.0583> 0.05), it can be said that it is not significant. From the above calculation that there is no influence of the positive affect variable as a mediating variable. That is, satisfaction with the performance of the football team through a positive influence has no effect on work engagement.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh satisfaction with football team performance melalui positive affects terhadap work engagement pada salesperson di Kota Bandung. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan desain penelitian explanatory research yang menggunakan metode survey, pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 22 salesperson yang menjadi suporter persib. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah alat ukur one item scale satisfaction with football team performance dari Scarpello & Campbell dan alat ukur work engagement dari Schaufeli & Bakker. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan dari hasil perhitungan analisis mediasi diperoleh nilai p sebesar 0,0583. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dikarenakan nilai p > 0,05 (0,0583>0,05) maka dapat disimpulkan tidak signifikan. Dari perhitungan diatas menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh dari variable positive affect sebagai variable mediasi. Artinya, satisfaction with football team performance melalui positive affect tidak berpengaruh terhadap work engagement.
