Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine the effect of perceived organizational justice on cyberloafing behavior among administrative employees at higher education institutions in Greater Bandung and Sumedang Regency. The theoretical concepts used are the theory by Colquitt (2001) to explain perceived organizational justice and the theory by Lim (2002) to explain cyberloafing. The method used was a quantitative study with a correlational design in the form of a cross-sectional survey with 250 respondents using a multistage sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were the Perceived organizational justice scale developed by Colquitt (2001) which was adapted into Indonesian by Yulianti. Y (2017) and the Employee's Workplace Cyberloafing Scale (EWCS) developed by Nurtjahjanti et al. (2024) based on Lim (2002) The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the aid of Mplus version 8.3. The results revealed a significant negative effect of perceived organizational justice on cyberloafing among administrative employees (β = -0.368; p < 0.001). This indicates that the higher employees' perceived organizational justice, the lower their level of cyberloafing. Among the four dimensions of POJ, interpersonal justice was the most dominant and had the strongest influence on cyberloafing
