Abstract

Abstract. Thriving at Work is a positive psychological state characterized by vitality and continuous learning, enabling employees to perform optimally despite workplace demands. In healthcare settings, high workloads, rapid changes in healthcare services, and increasing professional responsibilities require healthcare workers to maintain both energy and continuous development. One personal factor that may enhance Thriving at Work is Core Self-Evaluation, which reflects individuals' fundamental evaluations of their own worth, competence, emotional stability, and control over life events. This study aimed to examine the contribution of Core Self-Evaluation to Thriving at Work among healthcare workers in Cianjur Regency. A quantitative correlational design was employed involving 124 healthcare workers selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using the Core Self-Evaluations Scale and the Thriving at Work Scale. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression after meeting the assumptions of normality, linearity, and homoscedasticity. The findings revealed that Core Self-Evaluation had a significant positive contribution to Thriving at Work (p < 0.001), explaining 57.6% of the variance (R² = 0.576). These findings indicate that healthcare workers with higher Core Self-Evaluation are more likely to experience greater vitality and continuous learning in the workplace.
