Pengaruh Religiusitas terhadap Work Engagement pada PT Al Qosbah Karya Indonesia

Abstract

Abstract. Work Engagement is believed to be able to create conditions where employees not only become productive workers, but also employees can feel satisfaction and meaning in every aspect of their work. Religiosity is believed to provide long-term satisfaction so that it can increase employees' abilities in facing existing work challenges. Prior research has demonstrated that religiosity has a positive impact on work engagement. The goal of this study was to determine the degree to which employee religiosity affects work engagement in PT. Al Qosbah Karya Indonesia, a religious company. This study employed the quantitative method of research, which involves using a questionnaire to gather data from 120 participants, all of whom are company employees. Among the measuring tools used are the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) measuring tool from Schaufeli and Bakker (2003) adapted by Febrianthi et al., and the Centrality of Religiosity Scale Interreligious (CRSi) from Huber & Huber (2012) adapted by Yahya Nailul Harom. The study's findings demonstrate that religiosity has a positive and significant impact on work engagement, with PT. Al Qosbah Karya Indonesia employees contributing 15.2% of the total.

Abstrak. Work Engagament dipercaya bisa menciptakan kondisi dimana karyawan tidak hanya menjadi pekerja yang produktif, tetapi juga karyawan bisa merasakan kepuasan dan makna dalam tiap-tiap aspek dari pekerjaan mereka. Religiusitas diyakini bisa memberikan kepuasan jangka panjang sehingga bisa meningkatkan kemampuan karyawan dalam menghadapi tantangan pekerjaan yang ada. Penelitian terdahulu memperlihatkan bahwa secara positif work engagement mendapat pengaruh dari religiusitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan maksud untuk mengukur seberapa besar pengaruh religiusitas karyawan terhadap work engagement di perusahaan religi yaitu PT. Al Qosbah Karya Indonesia. Metode kuantitatif adalah metode penelitian yang diimplementasikan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan kuisioner sebagai alat untuk mengumpulkan data dengan total populasi sejumlah 120 yaitu karyawan dari perusahaan. The Centrality of Religiosity Scale Interreligious (CRSi) dari Huber & Huber (2012) yang diadaptasi oleh Yahya Nailul Harom, dan alat ukur Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) dari Schaufeli dan Bakker (2003) yang diadaptasi oleh Khristiana et all adalah sejumlah alat ukur yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa secara positif dan signifikan work engagement mendapat pengaruh dari religiusitas dengan kontribusi sekuat 15,2% pada karyawan PT. Al Qosbah Karya Indonesia.
