Studi Deskriptif Konflik Peran Ganda pada Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya

Abstract

Abstract. The number of female workers in Indonesia is increasing. The dream job that many women in Indonesia are interested in is Civil Servant (PNS). Civil servant mothers have two roles to play, the role as an employee and the role as a housewife. Mothers are required to be able to play a good role in both roles. When these two roles are not balanced, there will be work - family conflict. This study aims to get an overview of work-family conflict among civil servant mothers in Tasikmalaya Regency. This study uses a descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used in this study was convenience sampling with a total of 201 civil servant mothers from Tasikmalaya Regency as participants. Data collection was carried out offline by providing questionnaires to Government agencies in Tasikmalaya Regency. Work-family conflict was measured using the Work Family Conflict Scale (WFCS) and the data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study show that the majority of civil servant mothers in Tasikmalaya Regency have a low level of work-family conflict. A total of 107 civil servant mothers (53.2%) had low work-family conflict and 94 civil servant mothers (46.8%) had high work-family conflict.

Abstrak. Jumlah tenaga kerja wanita di Indonesia semakin banyak. Pekerjaan yang menjadi idaman dan banyak diminati wanita di Indonesia adalah Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS). Ibu PNS memiliki dua peran yang harus dijalani yaitu peran sebagai pegawai dan peran sebagai ibu rumah tangga. Ibu dituntut untuk dapat berperan baik dalam kedua peran tersebut. Ketika kedua peran tersebut tidak seimbang, maka akan terjadi adanya konflik peran ganda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai konflik peran ganda pada Ibu Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah convenience sampling dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 201 ibu PNS Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara offline dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada instansi Pemerintahan Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Konflik peran ganda diukur menggunakan Work Family Conflict Scale (WFCS) dan data akan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa mayoritas ibu PNS di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya memiliki tingkat konflik peran ganda yang rendah. Sebanyak 107 ibu PNS (53.2%) memiliki konflik peran ganda dalam kategori rendah dan 94 (46.8%) memiliki konflik peran ganda yang tinggi.
