Pengaruh Co-Worker Support terhadap Work-Family Conflict pada Perawat Wanita

Abstract

Abstract. Studies have shown that working women are particularly at risk of experiencing work-family conflict. Various efforts can be made to reduce the impact of work-family conflict. One of them is with positive support from co-workers. This study aims to determine how much influence co-worker support has on work-family conflict in female inpatient nurses at Cibabat Hospital. The sample size of this study was 30 female nurses in the inpatient room of Cibabat Hospital who have children under 10 years old. The research method used is non-experimental causality using a quantitative approach and multiple regression data analysis. The measuring instrument used is Sarafino & Smith's co-worker support scale which has been adapted by Puspita Wibawa E. P. While work-family conflict uses Carlson, Kacmar, & William's work-family conflict scale which has been adapted by Kuntari. The results showed that 93.3% of female nurses had high co-worker support and 6.7% of female nurses had high work-family conflict. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, it is found that co-worker support has a major effect on work- family conflict, which is 44.9%.

Abstrak. Berbagai studi telah menunjukan bahwa wanita yang bekerja sangat beresiko untuk mengalami work-family conflict. Banyak upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi dampak work-family conflict. Salah satunya adalah dengan dukungan positif dari rekan kerjanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh co-worker support terhadap work-family conflict pada perawat wanita ruang rawat inap di RSUD Cibabat. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 30 perawat wanita ruang rawat inap RSUD Cibabat yang memiliki anak usia dibawah 10 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kausalitas non- eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif serta analisis data multiple regression. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah co-worker support scale milik Sarafino & Smith yang telah diadaptasi oleh Puspita Wibawa E. P. Sedangkan work-family conflict menggunakan alat ukur work-family conflict scale milik Carlson, Kacmar, & William yang telah diadaptasi oleh Kuntari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 93.3% perawat wanita memiliki co-worker support tinggi dan 6,7% perawat wanita memiliki work-family conflict yang tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis multiple regression didapatkan bahwa co-worker support berpengaruh besar terhadap work- family conflict yaitu sebesar 44,9%.
