Pengaruh Impulsivity terhadap Perilaku Cybersex pada Akun Alter di Aplikasi X
Abstract
Abstract. The behavior of engaging in cybersex on Application X is often uncontrolled, leading to distress and negative impacts on other users. The difficulty in controlling this behavior is attributed to impulsive tendencies. This study aimed to determine the influence of impulsivity on cybersex behavior in alter accounts on Application X. The research employed a non-experimental causality method with simple linear regression analysis. The Short Version UPPS-P Impulsive Behavior Scale (SUPPS-P) adapted by Alamsyah (2018) and the Internet Sex Screening Test (ISST) adapted by Putri (2023) were utilized as measurement tools. - The research sample comprised 253 individuals accessing cybersex on Application X. The study revealed a significant influence of impulsivity on cybersex behavior with a significance value of 0.006 < 0.05, indicating an R2 value of 0.064. This suggests that impulsivity contributes approximately 6.4% to cybersex behavior. These findings underscore the impact of impulsivity on cybersex behavior in alter accounts on Application X, emphasizing the need for further understanding and potential interventions to address this issue.
