Abstract. A formulator often faces challenges in formulating pharmaceutical preparations, especially emulsion preparations. The classic problem of making emulsion preparations which are difficult to mix is a challenge in itself. With these conditions, literature research was carried out aimed at overcoming the difficulties of mixing emulsion preparations by using alternative pharmaceutical plasma technology methods that can improve mixability. Pharmaceutical plasma can potentially improve and maintain emulsion mixability efforts, which can reduce surface tension, decrease globular size, and increase zeta potential, but this plasma technology has not been widely developed and studied.
