Formulasi Sediaan Cleansing Balm Mengandung Allantoin (Aluminum dihydroxy allantoinate) Sebagai Eksfoliator

Abstract

Penggunaan kosmetik dalam jangka waktu yang lama dengan pembersihan yang tidak sempurna akan menyebabkan penumpukan sebum yang akan mengakibatkan timbulnya jerawat. Cleansing balm merupakan produk yang pembersih wajah pada tahap pertama proses double cleansing yang bertujuan untuk mengangkat kosmetik seperti makeup waterproof, kotoran, dan minyak berlebih. Cleansing balm juga dapat berfungsi untuk mengangkat sel-sel kulit mati dengan penambahan zat aktif allantoin sebagai agent eksfoliator. Formulasi basis dilakukan dengan variasi konsentrasi F1- F3 pada komponen bahan yaitu lanolin dan shea butter. Formula basis terpilih adalah F3 dengan komponen bahan lanolin 60% dan shea butter 25%. Dilakukan penambahan zat aktif allantoin 0,35% pada basis terpilih. Didapatkan hasil evaluasi F3 mengandung allantoin 0,35% pada uji organoleptik beraroma vanilla dan berwarna kuning, uji homogenitas dihasilkan sediaan yang homogen, daya sebar sebesar 4,4 ± 0,03 cm, uji daya bersih dengan waktu 9 detik ± 0 , uji titik leleh menghasilkan suhu 32°C ± 0,57, uji viskositas 158.333 cps ± 0,55 sifat alir termasuk kedalam tipe tiksotropik dan dilakukan uji stabilitas. Hasil uji stabilitas dengan metode cycling test formula tersebut terbukti stabil.

The use of cosmetics for a long time with imperfect cleansing will cause a buildup of sebum which will result in acne. Cleansing balm is a product that cleanses the face in the first stage of the double cleansing process which aims to remove cosmetics such as waterproof makeup, dirt and excess oil. Cleansing balm can also function to remove dead skin cells with the addition of the active substance allantoin as an exfoliator agent. The basic formulation was carried out by varying the concentration of F1-F3 on the ingredients, namely lanolin and shea butter. The selected base formula is F3 with 60% lanolin and 25% shea butter. The active substance allantoin 0.35% was added to the selected base. The results of the F3 evaluation contained 0.35% allantoin in the organoleptic test with a vanilla flavor and yellow color, homogeneity test produced a homogeneous preparation, spreadability of 4.4 ± 0.03 cm, clean power test with a time of 9 seconds ± 0 , point test melting yielded temperature 32°C ± 0.57, viscosity test 158,333 cps ± 0.55 flow properties included in the thixotropic type and stability tests were carried out. The results of the stability test using the cycling test method proved to be stable.
