Abstract

Abstract. High screen-time duration can have an impact on decreasing children’s concentration and learning motivation. This study aims to determine the screen-time duration and sleep quality in school-age children during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used is quantitative analysis with a crossosectional research design. Subjects totaling 210 students at SD Bandung Islamic School, were selected using a total sampling technique. Data collection was taken through primary data using the screen-time duration questionnaire. The result showed that most of the respondents who had a long screen-time duration were 124 children (59.0%). This can be caused by changes in government policies such as social distancing, working from home, and closing schools, causing students to study virtually through electronic media screens.
