Gambaran Perilaku Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (GERMAS) di Universitas Islam Bandung Tahun 2024
Abstract
Abstract. The Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS) is a national program aimed at promoting healthy behaviors to prevent chronic diseases. This study aimed to provide an overview of GERMAS behaviors among administrative staff at Universitas Islam Bandung. The research was conducted from August to September 2024 using a cross-sectional design with 77 administrative staff respondents who met the inclusion criteria. Data on GERMAS behaviors were collected using a validated and reliable questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using univariate methods to describe the GERMAS behaviors of the respondents. The results showed that the majority of respondents exhibited poor GERMAS behavior (92%). These findings highlight the need to strengthen education and promotion of the GERMAS program so that administrative staff not only recognize the program but also understand the importance of adopting healthy behaviors to support the prevention of non-communicable diseases. Further research with a broader scope is recommended to strengthen these findings.
