Gaya Hidup Sedenter pada Anak dan Remaja Pasca Pandemi COVID-19
Abstract
Abstract. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought significant changes to the lifestyles of children and adolescents around the world. Social restrictions and school closures during the pandemic have led to an increase in sedentary activities due to increased time spent watching television, playing gadgets, and sitting at home. This study aims to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on sedentary lifestyles in children and adolescents and its health implications. The method used was a literature study by reviewing relevant articles from various reputable sources. Results showed that the pandemic increased the duration of sedentary activities by more than 50% compared to before the pandemic. This excessive sedentary activity results in an increased risk of obesity, cardiovascular disorders and decreased mental health. Therefore, urgent interventions are needed to reduce sedentary activities through awareness raising, physical activity promotion, and the implementation of policies that support active lifestyles.
