Hubungan Antara Frekuensi Jaga Malam dengan Kejadian Hipertensi pada Tenaga Kesehatan di RSUD Al-Ihsan Bandung Tahun 2024
Abstract
Abstract. Hypertension is a major risk factor for death worldwide. Nurses and health workers who have rotational work and longer working hours can increase the prevalence of hypertension, especially for nurses who work at night. Health workers, including nurses in hospitals, try their best to provide intensive care to patients in need and work to meet their living needs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the frequency of night shifts and the incidence of hypertension in health workers at the Al-Ihsan Hospital, Bandung in 2024. This cross-sectional study was conducted at the Al-Ihsan Hospital, West Java Province on 125 health workers. Data were obtained from questionnaires and blood pressure examinations. Data used univariate and bivariate tests. The results of the univariate statistical test showed that most health workers experienced Pre-Hypertension (52.5%) and hypertension 11 people (9%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between age and the incidence of hypertension in health workers (P=0.024), and there was no relationship between the frequency of night shifts (P=0.580), length of rotation (P=0.776) and increased blood pressure (P=1.000) with the incidence of hypertension.
