Karakteristik, Gambaran Klinis, dan Outcome Pneumonia pada Anak di RSUD Al-Ihsan Tahun 2022-2023
Abstract
Abstract. Pneumonia is a leading cause of death in children, especially in developing countries. In 2019, WHO noted that pneumonia caused the deaths of 740,180 children under the age of 5 years. In Indonesia, 503,738 under-fives were infected with pneumonia. This study aimed to explore the characteristics, clinical features, and outcomes of pneumonia in children at Al-Ihsan Hospital, Bandung Regency during 2022-2023. Methods: Observational study with a cross-sectional design, at Al-Ihsan Hospital, Bandung Regency in 2022-2023 which was presented descriptively. Results: The most common age was aged >1 month-11 months 47 patients, the majority were male 64 patients, the most common chief complaint was cough 111 patients and not tachypnea 85 patients, the mean pulse rate <5 years was tachycardia, the leukocyte count in all age groups was within normal limits, rotgen photos were more bilateral bronchopneumonia, the mean body temperature was 37.4°C, the most common outcome was recovery 113 patients, the most commonly used antibiotics were ampicillin + gentamicin 72 patients. Conclusion: Pneumonia in children is more common in the age of >1 month-11 months, with the majority of patients being male. The main complaint was cough, and most patients were without tachypnea, the mean pulse rate of <5 years was tachycardic,leukocyte counts in all age groups were within normal limits, rotgen photos were more bilateral bronchopneumonia and subfebrile body temperature, the antibiotics often used were ampicillin + gentamicin, Outcome most patients recovered.
Abstrak. Pneumonia adalah penyebab utama kematian pada anak-anak, terutama di negara berkembang. Pada 2019, WHO mencatat pneumonia menyebabkan kematian 740.180 anak di bawah usia 5 tahun. Di Indonesia, 503.738 balita terinfeksi pneumonia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali karakteristik, gambaran klinis, dan outcome pneumonia pada anak di RSUD Al-Ihsan Kabupaten Bandung selama 2022-2023. Metode: Penelitian observasional dengan desain cross-sectional, di RSUD Al-Ihsan Kabupaten Bandung tahun 2022-2023 yang dipresentasikan secara deskripsi. Hasil: Usia terbanyak yaitu berusia >1 bulan–11 bulan 47 pasien, mayoritas laki-laki 64 pasien, keluhan utama terbanyak adalah batuk 111 pasien dan tidak takipneu 85 pasien, rerata laju nadi <5 tahun adalah takikardi, jumlah leukosit pada semua kelompok usia dalam batas normal, foto rotgen lebih banyak bronchopneumonia bilateral, rerata suhu tubuh 37,4°C, outcome terbanyak adalah sembuh 113 pasien, antibiotik yang sering digunakan adalah ampicillin + gentamicin 72 pasien. Kesimpulan: Pneumonia pada anak lebih banyak terjadi pada usia >1 bulan–11 bulan, dengan mayoritas pasien laki-laki. Keluhan utama adalah batuk, dan sebagian besar pasien tanpa takipneu, rerata laju nadi <5 tahun adalah takikardi, jumlah leukosit pada semua kelompok usia dalam batas normal, foto rotgen lebih banyak bronchopneumonia bilateral dan suhu tubuh subfebris, antibiotik yang sering digunakan adalah ampicillin + gentamicin, Outcome sebagian besar pasien sembuh.
