Faktor Risiko Mortalitas Pasien COVID-19 Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome di RSUD Al-Ihsan
Abstract
Abstract. Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) is a common complications in COVID-19 patients. The prevalence of ARDS caused by COVID-19, which is subsequently referred to as COVID-19 Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (CARDS), is high, with a mortality rate reaching 75-85%. Several factors are believed to contribute to the increased mortality in CARDS patients. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between age, gender, and comorbidities with the mortality of CARDS patients at RSUD Al-Ihsan from 2020-2023. The subject of this study are CARDS patients at RSUD Al-Ihsan in 2020-2023. The results showed that most CARDS patients were aged >60 years (55%), predominantly female (58%), and most of CARDS patients at RSUD Al-Ihsan did not have hypertension comorbidities (70%) or diabetes (81%). The analysis found no significant relationship between age, gender, and comorbidities with the mortality of CARDS patients (p> 0.05). This study analyzes the demographic factors and comorbidities that may influence the mortality of CARDS patients. However, further analysis is needed on other factors that can increase the mortality risk of CARDS patients to better understand the mechanisms underlying the increased mortality risk in CARDS patients.
