Evaluasi Kinerja Unit Crushing Plant dalam Mengolah Pasir dan Batu di CV Arindo, Desa Paseh Kaler, Kecamatan Paseh, Kabupaten Sumedang, Provinsi Jawa Barat
Abstract
Abstract. CV Arindo has a crushing plant unit whose performance is not yet known. Therefore, the company feels the need to conduct a performance evaluation of the unit. A crushing plant unit is a series of rock processing tools that aim to reduce the size of rock to the desired size. The series of tools consists of a hopper, feeder, primary crusher, belt conveyor, secondary crusher, tertiary crusher and screen. There are 5 research objectives, namely knowing work efficiency, knowing tool availability, knowing material balance, knowing the Production Rate Index, and knowing the amount of production. Data taken in the field consists of data on resistance time, dump truck speed, rock mass, rock volume and conveyor belt speed. From the processed data, several results were obtained, such as work efficiency, tool availability, rock density, feed weight, actual tool capacity, material balance, and Production Rate Index. The work efficiency of the crushing plant unit is 90.62%. Primary crusher availability values: MA=92.71%, PA=92.87%, UA=97.58%, EU=90.62%, secondary crusher: MA=94.28%, PA=94.5%, UA=95.89%, EU=90.62%, tertiary crusher: MA=94.65%, PA=94.87%, UA=95.52%, EU=90.62%, and screen: MA= 94.40%, PA=94.62%, UA=95.77%, EU=90.62%. The material entering the crushing plant unit is 103.55 tons/hour with the material leaving is 103.29 tons/hour. Each tool has a different Production Rate Index value, namely primary crusher 86.23%, secondary crusher 86.21%, tertiary crusher 48.03%, and screen 73.27%. Total production for one month was 17,972.4 tons, this result means that it has met the production target of 17,000 tons/month.
Abstrak. CV Arindo memiliki unit crushing plant yang belum diketahui seberapa baik kinerjanya. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan merasa perlu untuk melakukan evaluasi kinerja terhadap unit tersebut. Unit crushing plant adalah rangkaian alat pengolahan batuan yang bertujuan untuk memperkecil ukuran batuan sampai menjadi ukuran yang diinginkan. Rangkaian alat tersebut terdiri dari hopper, feeder, crusher primer, belt conveyor, crusher sekunder, crusher tersier, dan screen. Tujuan penelitian ada 5, yaitu mengetahui efisiensi kerja, mengetahui ketersediaan alat, mengetahui material balance, mengetahui Production Rate Index, dan mengetahui jumlah produksi. Data yang diambil di lapangan terdiri dari data waktu hambatan, ritase dump truck, massa batuan, volume batuan dan kecepatan belt conveyor. Dari data-data yang telah diolah, didapatkan beberapa hasil, seperti efisiensi kerja, ketersediaan alat, density batuan, berat umpan, kapasitas aktual alat, material balance, dan Production Rate Index. Efisiensi kerja unit crushing plant adalah 90,62%. Nilai ketersediaan crusher primer: MA=92,71%, PA=92,87%, UA=97,58%, EU=90,62%, crusher sekunder: MA=94,28%, PA=94,5%, UA=95,89%, EU=90,62%, crusher tersier: MA=94,65%, PA=94,87%, UA=95,52%, EU=90,62%, dan screen: MA=94,40%, PA=94,62%, UA=95,77%, EU=90,62%. Material yang masuk ke unit crushing plant sebesar 103,55 ton/jam dengan material yang keluar sebesar 103,29 ton/jam. Setiap alat memiliki nilai Production Rate Index yang berbeda, yakni crusher primer 86,23%, crusher sekunder 86,21%, crusher tersier 48,03%, dan screen 73,27%. Jumlah produksi selama satu bulan adalah 17.972,4 ton, hasil ini berarti sudah memenuhi target produksi sebesar 17.000 ton/bulan.
