Abstract. The rapid growth of TikTok as a digital information platform has increased young people's exposure to political content while simultaneously raising the risk of misinformation and information disorder. This study aims to analyze the level of digital media literacy among students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Islam Bandung (Unisba), in consuming political information on TikTok using the New Media Literacy framework developed by Chen et al. (2011). The research employed a quantitative descriptive survey method with a positivist paradigm. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 76 active students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences Unisba Class of 2022 and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results indicate that students' digital media literacy is categorized as very high, with a grand mean score of 4.41. Among the five dimensions measured, Evaluation achieved the highest score (4.51), followed by Consuming Skill (4.45), Understanding (4.44), Analysis (4.34), and Synthesis (4.32). These findings demonstrate that students possess strong abilities to access, understand, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate political information critically. However, the relatively lower score in the Synthesis dimension suggests a tendency to verify information within the TikTok ecosystem rather than through cross-platform sources. Therefore, strengthening cross-platform verification habits is necessary to avoid filter bubbles and echo chambers in digital information consumption.
