Implementasi Program Pengajian Kelas Rutin Bulanan Dalam Perwujudan Visi SMP PGII 2 Bandung
Abstract
Abstract. The monthly class study program at SMP PGII 2 Bandung is part of the school's efforts to realize their vision of being a religious, intelligent, and environmentally conscious Islamic junior high school. The program aims to cultivate a generation that is knowledgeable in religion and preserves religious traditions. This research adopts a qualitative field research methodology. The research findings indicate that the program involves planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning activities include identifying the program's objectives, selecting the content and schedule of activities, and determining the teaching methods. The implementation of the program consists of several stages, such as the opening ceremony, speeches from parents and homeroom teachers, and core activities such as recitation of the Asmaul Husna (the 99 names of Allah), collective prayers and remembrance, and recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Evaluation is conducted to assess the program's achievements, focusing on improvements in students' understanding of religious and moral values, student participation in religious activities, and students' religious awareness. The program faces challenges such as a lack of parental initiative and unpredictable weather conditions. However, these challenges can be overcome. The positive impacts of the program include the improvement of students' moral character, easy comprehension of the materials by students, enhancement of religious knowledge, increased student engagement and focus, and the strengthening of the parent-teacher relationship.
