Pengaruh Metode Card Sort Terhadap Kualitas Proses Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Kelas V SDN Jayamukti Tasikmalaya
Abstract
Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kualitas proses pembelajaran pada kelas V SDN Jayamukti Tasikmalaya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan peneliti kepada siswa menunjukan bahwa kualitas proses pembelajaran masih tergolong rendah. Hal tersebut karena pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru masih bersifat konvensional. Oleh karena itu, dilakukannya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran card sort terhadap kualitas proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam kelas V SDN Jayamukti Tasikmalaya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu jenis kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen semu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kualitas proses pembelajaran di SDN Jayamukti Tasikmalaya sebelum diterapkannya metode pembelajaran card sort terlihat bahwa kualitas proses pembelajaran pada kelas kontrol VA dan kelas eksperimen VB cenderung rendah dan belum bisa dikatakan aktif. Tetapi setelah diterapkannya metode pembelajaran card sort terlihat bahwa pada kelas eksperimen VB diperoleh nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata pada kelas kontrol VA. Dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada pertemuan ke-3 kelas eksperimen VB mendapat nilai rata-rata yakni 45.59 dan kelas kontrol VA memperoleh nilai sebesar 37.20. Dari data diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan metode pembelajaran card sort terbukti telah memberikan pengaruh terhadap kualitas proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam kelas V SDN Jayamukti Tasikmalaya. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan uji hipotesis pada uji-t (independent sampel t-test) terhadap variable x yaitu metode card sort dan variable y yaitu kualitas proses pembelajaran diperoleh hasil nilai sig. (2 tailed) 0.000 < 0.005.
Abstract. This research was motivated by the low quality of the learning process in class V at Jayamukti public elementary school Tasikmalaya. Based on the results of initial observations made by researchers to students, it shows that the quality of the learning process is still relatively low. This is because the learning that teachers do is still conventional. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of the card sort learning method on the quality of the learning process of Islamic religious education in class V at Jayamukti public elementary school Tasikmalaya. The approach used in this research is quantitative with a quasi experimental research method. The results of this study indicate that the quality of the learning process at Jayamukti public elementary school Tasikmalaya before the application of the card sort learning method shows that the quality of the learning process in the control class VA and experimental class VB tends to be low and cannot be said to be active. But after the application of the card sort learning method, it can be seen that the experimental class VB obtained a higher average value than the average value in the VA control class. With the average value obtained at the 3rd meeting, the experimental class VB got an average value of 45.59 and the control class VA obtained a value of 37.20. From the above data it can be concluded that the application of the card sort learning method has proven to have an influence on the quality of the learning process of Islamic religious education in class V at Jayamukti public elementary school Tasikmalaya. This is indicated by the hypothesis test in the t-test (independent sample t-test) on variable x, which is the card sort method and variable y, namely the quality of the learning process, obtained the results of the Sig. (2 tailed) 0.000 <0.005.
