Internalisasi Nilai Tabayyun Etika Verifikasi Informasi Dalam Buku Siswa Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) SMA Kelas XI: Studi Literatur Kurikulum Merdeka dan Tafsir Surah Al-Hujurat Ayat 6

The rapid development of digital technology has increased the spread of information, including misinformation and hoaxes. This condition highlights the importance of tabayyun as an Islamic ethical principle for verifying information before accepting or disseminating it. This study aims to analyze the internalization of tabayyun values in the Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti textbook for Grade XI Senior High School in the Merdeka Curriculum. This research employed a qualitative approach with a library research method. The primary data were obtained from the Grade XI PAI textbook and Ibn Kathir’s interpretation of Surah Al-Hujurat verse 6, while secondary data were collected from relevant books and scientific journals. Data were analyzed using content analysis. The findings indicate that the values of tabayyun are reflected in the topics of critical thinking, maintaining proper speech, and social media ethics. However, these values have not been explicitly integrated with the concept of tabayyun based on Surah Al-Hujurat verse 6, and operational guidance for information verification is still limited. Therefore, strengthening the integration of tabayyun values in learning materials is necessary to support students critical thinking and digital literacy.
