Penguatan Karakter Disiplin Akademik dan Disiplin Keagamaan Studi Kasus SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School eco Parongpong
Abstract
Abstract. The formation of disciplined character at SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Parongpong involves various strategies and approaches that are integrated into the daily lives of students both in the academic environment and in the dormitory. However, there are still some students who are not able to apply a disciplined attitude. Therefore, it is important for teachers and schools to provide a series of regulations that can develop students' disciplined character, which in turn can influence students' success in learning achievement. This research aims to explore the concept of character strengthening applied at SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School eco Parongpong in supporting the character of academic and religious discipline. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, and data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research was conducted in January 2025 at SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School eco Parongpong, West Bandung Regency. The research results show that the implementation of the program supports strengthening the character of students in academic and religious disciplines.

Abstrak. Pembentukan karakter disiplin di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Parongpong melibatkan berbagai strategi dan pendekatan yang terintegrasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari peserta didik baik dalam lingkungan akademik dan di asrama. Meskipun demikian, masih ada beberapa peserta didik yang belum mampu menerapkan sikap disiplin. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi guru dan sekolah untuk memberikan serangkaian peraturan yang dapat mengembangkan karakter disiplin peserta didik , yang pada gilirannya dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan peserta didik dalam pencapaian belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep penguatan karakter yang diterapkan di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School eco Parongpong dalam mendukung karakter disiplin akademik dan religius. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan pada Januari 2025 di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School eco Parongpong, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program yang diterapkan mendukung penguatan karakter peserta didik dalam disiplin akademik dan religius
