Abstract

Abstract. Many activities carried out by humans every day still depend on physical energy. The use of human labor in manual material handling (MMH) activities is still very dominant. Manual material handling still occurs in CV cardboard factories. Mgx Kurnia Cipta is located in Wangunharja Village, Lembang District, Bandung. The problems that occur are delays in delivering products to customers, delays in delivery resulting in complaints and potentially reducing trust from customers. The cause of the problem is that the operator does not come to work due to an injury while working, the injury is caused because the cardboard lift is carried out manually with an average weight of 16.5 kg with a frequency of 62 lifts and through 18 steps. This research aims to design ergonomic work facilities to avoid these risks. The method using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire was used to identify the level of pain complaints experienced by workers. Work risk assessment uses Key indicator methods with respect to manual lifting, holding (KIM-LHC) and Key Indicator Method with respect to Body Movement (KIM-BM). The results of the risk assessment showed that the intensity of the load was high, which meant that preventive measures were needed by adding work aids. The design of the proposed work facilities is in the form of a transport trolley and hydraulic pulley. The simulation results showed that the load intensity dropped to low and was declared safe without the need for further repair.

Abstrak. Aktivitas yang dilakukan manusia setiap hari masih banyak yang bergantung pada tenaga fisik. Penggunaan tenaga manusia dalam aktivitas manual material handling (MMH) masih sangat dominan. Penanganan material secara manual masih terjadi di pabrik kardus CV. Mgx Kurnia Cipta yang berlokasi di Desa Wangunharja, Kecamatan Lembang, Bandung. Permasalahan yang terjadi adanya keterlambatan pengiriman produk kepada pelanggan, keterlambatan pengiriman mengakibatkan adanya komplen dan berpotensi mengurangi kepercayaan dari pelanggan. Penyebab permasalahan yaitu operator tidak masuk kerja karena cedera pada saat bekerja, cedera disebabkan karena  pengangkatan kardus dilakukan secara manual dengan berat rata rata 16,5 kg dengan frekuensi 62 kali pengangkatan dan melalui 18 anak tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang fasilitas kerja ergonomis guna menghindari risiko tersebut. Metode dengan menggunakan kuesioner Nordic Body Map (NBM) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat keluhan rasa sakit yang dialami oleh pekerja. Penilaian risiko kerja menggunakan Key indicator methods with respect to manual lifting, holding (KIM-LHC) dan Key Indicator Method with respect to Body Movement (KIM-BM). Hasil penilaian risiko menunjukkan intensitas beban tinggi artinya membutuhkan tindakan pencegahan dengan melakukan penambahan alat bantu kerja. Perancangan fasilitas kerja yang diusulkan berupa Trolley pengangkut dan katrol hidraulik. Perancangan disimulasikan menggunakan Software SketchUp dan menunjukkan intensitas beban turun menjadi rendah.
