Abstract

Abstract. Pt. XYZ is a company operating in the pharmaceutical industry and has several departments. One of them is the Engineering Department, which has the task of supporting production activities as well as managing all facilities and utilities. The flow of information systems in the Engineering Department still uses physical documents. This was proven when a work request (WR) was submitted from a department that required repairs to repair damaged facilities. The problem that arises from this process is that there are many complaints that WR letters are not received by the Engineering Department Administrator due to the WR letters being piled up by other documents, so that the existing damage cannot be resolved quickly. To overcome these problems, companies need to implement the use of digitalized systems. The information system will be designed using the Microsoft PowerApps platform as an online storage medium (cloud), Microsoft Access as a database, Sharepoint as a database link to PowerApps, and Microsoft Power Automate as business process automation. The method used is the Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST) method with a model-driven development (MDD) strategy. The results obtained from designing the Engineering Department's information system are a system that can be used by all job-requesting departments and the Engineering Department to submit work requests. So that submitted work requests can be corrected quickly.

Abstrak. Pt XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang industri farmasi dan memiliki beberapa departemen di dalamnya. Salah satunya yakni Departemen Engineering yang memiliki tugas untuk menunjang kegiatan produksi, serta mengelola seluruh fasilitas dan utilitas. Aliran sistem informasi yang ada pada Departemen Engineering masih menggunakan dokumen fisik. Hal tersebut terbukti saat dilakukannya pengajuan Work Request (WR) dari departemen yang membutuhkan perbaikan untuk memperbaiki fasilitas yang rusak. Permasalahan yang timbul dari proses tersebut yaitu banyaknya complain bahwa surat WR tidak diterima oleh Administrator Departemen Engineering yang disebabkan karena tertumpuknya Surat WR oleh dokumen lain, sehingga kerusakan yang ada tidak dapat diselesaikan dengan cepat. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang tersebut, maka perusahaan perlu menerapkan  pemanfaatan sistem yang terdigitalisasi. Sistem informasi akan dirancang menggunakan platform Microsoft PowerApps sebagai media penyimpanan online (Cloud), Microsoft Access sebagai database, Sharepoint sebagai penghubung basis data ke dalam Powerapps, dan Microsoft Power Automate sebagai otomatisasi proses bisnis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST) dengan strategi Model-Driven Development (MDD). Hasil yang diperoleh pada perancangan sistem informasi Departemen Engineering ini ialah sistem yang dapat digunakan oleh seluruh Departemen Peminta Kerja dan Departemen Engineering untuk melakukan pengajuan Work Request. Sehingga Work Request yang diajukan dapat diperbaiki dengan cepat.
