Abstract

Abstract. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in Indonesia’s economic development through their contribution to gross domestic product and employment. However, limited access to financial capital and inadequate human capital remain major challenges affecting business performance. This study aims to examine the influence of financial capital and human capital on MSME business performance in Cibeunying Kaler District, Bandung City. A quantitative approach with descriptive and verification methods was employed. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 80 MSME owners selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics. The results indicate that financial capital has a positive and significant effect on business performance. Human capital also has a positive and significant effect and is the dominant factor influencing MSME performance. Simultaneously, both variables significantly improve business performance. These findings highlight the importance of improving access to financial resources and strengthening entrepreneurs’ competencies to enhance MSME competitiveness and business sustainability.
