Abstract. The rapid advancement of digital communication technology has transformed social media into an interactive space that enables the formation of interest-based communities—places where members communicate, exchange information, and build a collective identity. One such example is the Indonesian Blink-182 fanbase, centered around the Instagram account **@blink182.ina**. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of group communication within the community, identify the role of administrators in managing communication and resolving conflicts, and explain the processes by which solidarity among members is formed and maintained in the digital environment. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection involved virtual observation of communication activities on Instagram, in-depth interviews with administrators and several community members, and documentation of various forms of digital interaction. The findings indicate that group communication within the community is open and participatory, underpinned by shared symbolic meanings that reinforce collective identity, mutual trust, and interpersonal bonds. Administrators play a crucial role as communication facilitators, conflict mediators, and managers of community norms, thereby fostering a conducive communication climate. Furthermore, shared interest in Blink-182’s music, continuous interaction, active participation in various activities, and mutual support among members serve as key factors that strengthen solidarity and ensure the community's sustainability. Thus, effective group communication acts as a vital foundation for fostering harmonious relationships and supporting the enduring existence of digital fan communities
