Radio Online Sebagai Media Ekspresi Subkultur Anak Muda
Abstract
Abstract, This research aims to explore the role of online radio as a medium of expression for youth subcultures. In the digital era, young people are increasingly seeking platforms to express their identities. Norrm Radio emerges as a medium that provides space for independent music and youth subcultures. This study employs a qualitative approach with an exploratory case study method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and literature analysis. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's method, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that Norrm Radio leverages the characteristics of independent music and community interaction to sustain its existence as an alternative media. This research highlights the importance of platforms like Norrm Radio in creating spaces for subcultural expression.
Abstrak, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendalami peran radio online sebagai media ekspresi bagi subkultur anak muda. Dalam era digital, anak muda semakin aktif mencari wadah untukmengekspresikan identitas mereka. Norrm Radio muncul sebagaimedium yang memberikan ruang bagi musik independen dan subkultur anak muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatankualitatif dengan studi kasus eksploratoris. Teknik pengumpulandata meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan analisis pustaka. Analisisdata dilakukan menggunakan metode Miles dan Huberman melaluireduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Norrm Radio memanfaatkankarakteristik musik independen dan interaksi komunitas untukmempertahankan eksistensinya sebagai media alternatif. Penelitianini menyoroti pentingnya platform seperti Norrm Radio dalammenciptakan ruang ekspresi bagi subkultur.
