Pengaruh Tipe Industri terhadap Pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility

Abstract. The company's lack of understanding of the importance of CSR makes it one of the factors that causes the low quality of CSR disclosure. Whereas all types and types of industries need to disclose CSR. This study aims to determine the classification of industry types, to determine CSR disclosures, and to determine the effect of industry type on CSR disclosures in raw goods sector companies. By using purposive sampling technique, the research sample was obtained as many as 77 companies in the raw goods sector. The method used is verification with a quantitative approach. The data used is secondary data sourced from the annual report and sustainability report disclosed by the company in 2020 and published on www.idx.co.id or the company's official website. The data collection technique is the documentation technique. Hypothesis testing using the Normality Test, t Test, and Coefficient of Determination with SPSS version 23. The results showed that the high profile industry type consisted of the chemical, metal and mineral, cement, forestry, paper and low profile industries consisting of the container business sector. & packaging and trading. The company with the most CSR disclosures is Aneka Tambang Tbk. and the lowest is Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk. The results also show that there is an influence of industry type on CSR disclosure in raw goods sector companies listed on the IDX in 2020.

Abstrak. Kurangnya pemahaman perusahaan akan pentingnya CSR menjadikannya salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya kualitas pengungkapan CSR. Padahal semua tipe dan jenis industri perlu mengungkapkan CSR. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui klasifikasi tipe industri, mengetahui pengungkapan CSR, dan mengetahui pengaruh tipe industri terhadap pengungkapan CSR pada perusahaan sektor barang baku. Dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 77 perusahaan sektor barang baku. Metode yang digunakan yaitu verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder bersumber dari annual report dan sustainability report yang diungkapkan perusahaan tahun 2020 dan diterbitkan pada www.idx.co.id atau website resmi perusahaan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Uji Normalitas, Uji t, dan Koefisien Determinasi dengan SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tipe industri high profile terdiri dari bidang usaha kimia, logam dan mineral, semen, ,hutan, kertas dan tipe industri low profile terdiri dari bidang usaha wadah & kemasan dan perdagangan.  Perusahaan dengan pengungkapan CSR terbanyak adalah Aneka Tambang Tbk. dan terendah adalah Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan adanya pengaruh tipe industri terhadap pengungkapan CSR pada perusahaan sektor barang baku yang terdaftar di BEI  tahun 2020.
